Physicians Accounting Management was established in 1990 by Brent Meyer and Robert Kaplan. Brent and Robert are both sought after speakers with expertise in the tax and financial planning needs of physicians. They have spoken extensively throughout California including at UCLA Medical Center, LAC+USC Medical Center, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, Huntington Memorial Hospital, and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.
Brent Meyer earned his licensure as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) at the Los Angeles, CA based accounting firm of Parks, Palmer, Turner & Yemenidjian in 1992. Brent and his wife, Sheryl, reside in Thousand Oaks, CA and are the proud parents of two children.

Robert Kaplan, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, earned his CPA licensure at the international accounting firm of Ernst & Young. Robert and his wife, Leslie, reside in Encino, CA and are the proud parents of three daughters. Leslie graduated from UCLA Medical School and is a practicing Pediatrician specializing in Adolescent Medicine. Robert enjoys challenging himself both physically and mentally, having completed several Ironman triathlons and the Boston and Los Angeles marathons.
